Saffron Cottage

Saffron Cottage is located in the village of Ford, near Shrewsbury. A former public house, the building has been completely transformed into a modern, vibrant Indian restaurant. We developed a great working relationship with the owner and were given a free reign to come up with a unique lighting design. We sourced some white ceramic torch fittings and the team hand painted each one black and supplied them with amber lamps to create the right ambience.

In another part of the restaurant there is a double height section, where we worked with the builder to create a strengthened wooden panel across the beams to enable us to hang our showroom centre-piece. This had been specifically chosen due to the height so as to be seen from the bar area to give maximum inpact. Completed 2009.
